The role
We are looking for an Investment Banking Intern to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis.
The internship provides broad exposure across different types of transactions rather than a single sector or product. Depending on active mandates, interns may work on SME and middle-market M&A transactions, traditional venture capital fundraises, and fundraising assignments for companies in the crypto and digital-asset ecosystem.
You will work directly with the deal team on live transactions and new opportunities, gaining hands-on exposure to how advisory assignments are originated, analysed, prepared, and executed. For candidates exploring investment banking, private equity, or venture capital, the role is an opportunity to build core transaction skills across a particularly broad mix of companies, sectors, and transaction types.
Key responsibilities
Support the origination and execution of M&A and capital-raising transactions.
Conduct company, industry, market, and investor research.
Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, and comparable company and transaction analyses.
Assist with pitch books, teasers, information memorandums, investor materials, and other transaction documents.
Identify potential buyers, acquisition targets, investors, and strategic counterparties.
Analyse company financials, business models, competitive positioning, and key transaction considerations.
Support due diligence, data-room management, and transaction workstreams.
Assist with investor and buyer outreach preparation and tracking.
Support senior team members on client presentations, meetings, and other deal-related work.
Contribute to internal research, business development, and other projects as required.
What you will get exposure to
M&A
Sell-side and buy-side advisory, particularly involving founder-owned and SME businesses.
Venture Capital Fundraising
Fundraising preparation and execution for startups and growth companies across traditional technology sectors.
Crypto & Digital Assets
Venture fundraising and strategic advisory for companies across the crypto, blockchain, and broader digital-asset ecosystem.
As a small and entrepreneurial team, we give interns meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to senior team members. Strong performers can contribute directly to live transaction work rather than working exclusively on internal or administrative projects.
What we look for
We welcome students and recent graduates from any discipline who have a strong interest in investment banking, investing, entrepreneurship, or corporate finance. Ideal candidates demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and a high standard of work
- Comfort working with numbers and financial information
- Ability to conduct independent research and form structured conclusions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
Prior investment banking experience is not required. Familiarity with accounting, corporate finance, valuation, or financial modelling is helpful, but can also be developed through the internship. An interest in startups, SME businesses, venture capital, or digital assets is a prerequisite.
